Final Meltdown

The tournament director uses several factors when determining brackets. Including how often your team plays together. This question will be asked during registration.

Divisions Offered: Based on Registrations

UPPER - teams play together often (monthly)

LOWER - teams almost never play together (just a few tournaments a year, etc...)

SILVER - Players 50+ (exception for goalies at 40+)

Teams will choose a division to register for, but that may change at the tournament director's discretion. The goal is to make the tournament as competitive as possible. This has been very successful in years prior!

GENERAL GAME PLAY RULES AND REGULATIONS

Format (bracketed, round robin pool play, or round robin) depends on teams registered.

Three game guarantee. Four games possible depending on time and teams registered.

Five minute warm up. Three (3) 15-minute periods. First and second running time, third is stop time, unless there is a six (6) goal lead, then it becomes run time. If at any point there is less than a 6 goal lead, stop time resumes. One minute between periods.

OVERTIME PROCEDURES

If the score is tied after regulation, there will be a three player shootout. If the score is still tied after, a one player shootout will continue until a winner is decided. Must go through the full roster before repeating skaters.
